Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a dishwashing team member to support kitchen cleanliness and efficient food preparation in a fast-paced store environment. The role focuses on maintaining a sanitary workspace and providing courteous service to customers and team members.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses needs of customers in a timely and effective manner and models suggestive selling techniques; answers phones and pages promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prep, storage, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with established procedures, including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment in safety standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy and promptly reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by store leadership.
