Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to support dishwashing and general cleanliness of the kitchen area. You will work with the store team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and assist with deliveries, stocking, and merchandising while delivering courteous service to customers and Team Members.

This role emphasizes teamwork, prompt communication, and adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures for health, sanitation, and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures accurate pricing; reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
