Legend Senior Living is seeking a Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher to support the culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized kitchen and serveware. You will help ensure high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hospitality for our residents.

The role involves operating the dish machine, cleaning areas, and assisting with general kitchen tasks in a caring senior living environment. Evening/weekend availability may be required; compensation aligns with local wage norms.

Qualifications

• Willingness to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Good communication with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment
• Empty the dish machine and properly store clean items
• Clean preparation and service areas according to health code requirements
• Take all garbage to the dumpster
• Launder table linens
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
