Job summary

Legend Senior Living in the United States seeks a Kitchen Assistant Dishwasher to support the culinary team and maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen and serveware, contributing to Legend’s Gold Leaf Dining experience and high-quality atmosphere.

The role may require evenings and weekends. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not required; training and growth opportunities are provided. Legend Senior Living maintains a drug-free workplace with ongoing evaluations.

Qualifications

• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and serveware.
• Support the culinary team to uphold Gold Leaf Dining standards.
• Experience in a similar position is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dish machine to wash dishes, glasses, cups, trays, silverware and food service equipment
• Empty dish machine and store clean items properly
• Clean preparation and service areas according to health code requirements
• Take all garbage to the dumpster
• Launder table linens
• Communicate effectively with residents and staff
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
