Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks a team member to maintain kitchen cleanliness, wash dishes, and support daily operations. You will follow health and safety guidelines, assist in deliveries, and help with merchandising while delivering friendly service to customers and Team Members.

The role requires punctuality, teamwork, and the ability to flex across shifts. Full and part-time opportunities may be available, with emphasis on safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
• Able to work in wet and dry conditions.

Responsibilities

• Washes, rinses, and sanitizes dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and small wares.
• Maintains cleanliness of floors, mats, drains, walls, and shelves in the kitchen area.
• Assists with kitchen deliveries including proper storage, organization, and rotation of products.
• Arrives to work station on time, groomed, dressed and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly and courteously.
• Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
• Follows and complies with procedures including health and sanitation and safe work practices.
• Maintains a clean working and shopping environment; maintains equipment per cleanliness standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy; reports hazards.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
