Job summary

Wave Resort is seeking a Dishwasher/Steward to clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils and pots. Maintain the dish room and assist with cleaning other areas as requested. Operate dish machines per specifications and restock items to meet service standards.

Candidates should have English fluency, a Food/Beverage permit where applicable, and the ability to handle high heat and moisture. Prior experience is preferred but not required; must meet minimum age requirements and communicate

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English fluently.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Able to handle high heat and moisture.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain dish room and dish machine sanitation and cleanliness.
• Wash and restock dishes, glassware, utensils, pots and pans.
• Break down, clean, and sanitize the dish machine at shift end.
• Follow proper detergent and sanitizer usage per specifications.
• Assist with cleaning other areas as requested.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitization standards.
