Job summary

Compass Group USA, Levy brand, is hiring a Steward at OSU Woody Hayes Athletic Center to maintain kitchen work areas and equipment in clean, orderly condition.

You will sweep and mop floors, operate dishwashers and other machines, wash surfaces, unload supplies, and assist with banquet setup as needed, supporting the team in a fast-paced food service environment.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ability to operate dishwashers and large electric equipment.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with sanitation standards.
• Operates large electric machines such as dishwashers and sanitizers.
• Washes work surfaces, tables, refrigerators, and prep areas.
• Transports supplies between storage and work areas safely.
• Assists with banquet setup and front-of-house as needed.
• Loads/unloads supplies and distributes utensils and equipment.
• Complies with all sanitation and safety requirements.
