Job summary

Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina is seeking a dedicated dishwashing steward to support the Food & Beverage team with cleanliness and sanitation throughout the kitchen and dining areas.

You will wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans and utensils, operate the dishwasher, manage supplies, and help keep the heart of the house organized. A high school education and some related experience are expected, with flexibility to work holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High school education and at least 1 month of related experience, or an equivalent combination.

Responsibilities

• Operate the dishwasher and maintain proper setup, water levels, and soap supply.
• Load, wash, and dry plates, utensils, glasses, and pots in a timely, safe manner.
• Clean and sanitize the dish area, equipment, and racks.
• Maintain clean, organized storage for dishware, silverware, and plastics.
• Empty trash and re-line bins; assist in maintaining overall cleanliness of the dining area.
• Assist with buffet setup/breakdown and support the Food & Beverage heart of the house.
