Job summary

Pinehurst is seeking a diligent dishwasher/steward to wash and sanitize dishes, keeping a clean and orderly kitchen area in line with health department standards. You will operate the dishwasher, restock clean wares, and assist in maintaining overall food and beverage areas.

The role requires basic education and a willingness to follow procedures, with physical ability to handle routine cleaning tasks and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Education required and 1 month related experience or equivalent education.
• Ability to follow health department policies and maintain sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the dishwasher, fill and change water as specified, and ensure proper soap and rinse levels.
• Load and unload dishes, utensils, glasses, and trays while keeping areas clean and organized.
• Clean and sanitize dishwashing area, racks, and related equipment.
• Maintain an ample supply of clean dishware, silverware, glassware, and plastics.
• Keep the dish area clean and organized at the end of each shift.
• Store pots, pans, and cutting boards properly and sanitize equipment used in food prep.
