Job summary

Sun Health is seeking a Dishwasher (Kitchen Steward) for La Loma Village in Litchfield Park, AZ. The role focuses on maintaining kitchen cleanliness, sanitation, and organization, supporting a vibrant community.

Responsibilities include cleaning utensils, surfaces, and equipment; assisting with banquets and deliveries; and upholding safety standards. Requires knife handling skills and local food handler credentials, with benefits including health, 401k, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate safe knife handling.
• Must possess current or be able to obtain a Maricopa County Food Handlers Card at time of hire.
• Must be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes tables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and prep surfaces.
• Cleans dishes, glassware, flatware, equipment to local law.
• Removes trash and cleans garbage cans; steam cleans or hoses them.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and buffet setup.
• Loads/unloads and delivers supplies and product.
• Labels, dates and stores all food items properly.
• Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment as needed.
• Complies with sanitation and safety requirements.
• Assists with food prep and other duties as assigned.
• Attends facility in-services as required by supervisor.
