This role is essential for maintaining tidy work areas and assisting kitchen staff during busy periods. Ideal candidates should have prior experience in stewarding or kitchen cleaning, along with a positive attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stewarding or kitchen cleaning is preferred.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy items when required.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean dishes, utensils, kitchen equipment, and work areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and stewarding areas.
• Dispose of waste and ensure garbage areas are kept clean and organized.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and organising kitchen supplies when required.
• Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning and operational tasks.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
• Assist during busy kitchen operations as needed.
