Job summary

Hacienda Del Sol Guest Ranch Resort in Tucson, AZ seeks a Kitchen Steward to support restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, washing dishes, and ensuring Health Department standards are met. The role also assists with proper storage of food and non-food items and ensures the dish machine is functioning properly.

As part of a fast-paced hospitality team, you will help stock and prepare items as needed while maintaining high sanitation and safety

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or in the dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize tableware and kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and orderly.
• Maintain food preparation areas and facilities per Health Department standards.
• Stock serving stations and dining areas with food and supplies.
• Receive and store supplies; load/unload deliveries.
• Dispose of trash and sweep floors; load cleaning chemicals as required.

Summary

The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen to support smooth restaurant operations. Duties include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils, pots, pans, glassware, and other kitchen equipment; collecting and disposing of trash; breaking down and transporting cardboard to designated dumpsters; and maintaining kitchen areas in accordance with Health Department standards. The Kitchen Steward also assists with properly storing food and non-food items, ensures the dish machine is clean and functioning properly, and maintains appropriate chemical levels according to Health Department requirements.

Responsibilities
