Ron Jaworski Golf's Back Creek Golf Club in Middletown, DE is seeking an enthusiastic Kitchen Staff member. This part-time role offers $17.00-$22.00 hourly and involves preparing meals for guests at the tavern, events, and celebrations.

Qualifications

• 2 Years’ proven experience in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Passion for cooking and delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
• High School Diploma - Culinary School Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow policies and schedules for kitchen operation.
• Adhere to proper food handling procedures and sanitation standards.
• Prepare food items according to recipe specifications and production guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Ensure kitchen tools and equipment are in working order and report issues.
• Complete end-of-shift duties, including stocking workstations for next shift.
• Follow health and safety standards, including proper use of PPE.
• Coordinate with operating departments to provide the best service to guests.

Duties & Responsibilities

• To follow policies and schedules for the operation in the kitchen facility.
• Adhere to proper food handling procedures and maintain sanitation standards across work areas.
• Prepare food items according to recipe specifications and production guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to stay informed.
• Ensure all kitchen tools and equipment are in working order and promptly report any issues to a supervisor.
• Complete end-of-shift duties, including ensuring workstations are stocked and ready for the next shift.
• Follow all health and safety standards, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Notify management immediately of any issues or potential concerns.
• To help in the coordination of all events and activities with the operating departments of the Golf Course in order to provide the best possible service to the guests.

Working Conditions

• Employee must be able to lift/handle up to 20 lbs.
• Work extended hours during golf and holiday season
