Job summary

Schlotzsky's is hiring Kitchen Team Members to join a fast-paced deli environment. You will help prepare and assemble sandwiches, pizzas, and salads, while keeping a clean, well-stocked station. Training is provided, and prior restaurant experience is welcome but not required.

Roles offer flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement. Pay starts at $9.00–$12.00 per hour, based on experience and location; part-time or full-time options are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years or older.
• Positive attitude and a team-first mindset.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Attention to quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and take direction.
• Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock workstations with fresh ingredients and supplies.
• Assemble sandwiches, pizzas, and salads with accuracy and speed.
• Operate deli equipment including ovens and prep tools (no open-flame cooking).
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to keep a clean kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with teammates for smooth service.
• Support daily prep to maintain freshness and quality.
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and kitchen cleanliness during shifts.
