Description

Purchase Youth Village is a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility in Benton, Kentucky that serves the needs of children and adolescents with psychiatric, behavioral, and substance abuse issues.

We are seeking full-time and part-time Kitchen Workers who are compassionate and eager to serve the needs of children and adolescents undergoing psychiatric mental healthcare. Kitchen staff will prepare food and beverage items according to standardized recipes and established food preparation procedures, meeting all mandated nutritional and meal requirements.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Serve food in compliance with health standards.
• Clean utensils, equipment, storage, and food preparation areas to maintain required sanitary conditions.
• Evaluate prepared food for flavor, appearance, and temperature, ensuring acceptance by residents and staff.
• Inspect food items and supplies to verify quantity, quality, and specifications of orders, ensuring compliance with health standards.
• Monitor kitchen for health and safety compliance and report deficiencies immediately to supervisor.
• Report needed supplies and equipment issues promptly to supervisor.
• Receive items and stock shelves during food and supply deliveries.

Availability: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, all shifts, including weekends.

Minimum Starting Pay: $13/hour
