Job summary

NexDine Hospitality in Dallas, TX is seeking a Cook to prepare breakfast, lunch and catered events under the Chef or Chef Manager. You will operate ovens, stoves, dishwashers, slicers, coffee machines, steamers, mixers and knives while delivering friendly, attentive service.

This position offers part-time or full-time hours with a starting pay rate of $17.00 to $23.00 per hour, paid weekly. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO and EAP, with growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and clean food preparation areas to ensure safety and sanitation.
• Ensure food is cooked to correct temperatures using ovens, broilers, grills, and steamers.
• Prepare stations and follow company guidelines for food preparation.
• Assist with inventory and forecast preparation needs as directed.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with supervisors as needed.
