Wonder in Huntington, NY is seeking a Shift Supervisor to oversee our kitchen operations, ensure top‑quality food and service, and lead the team through opening, prep, and closing duties. Ideal candidates have 1+ year supervising in a QSR or full‑service restaurant, strong teamwork and communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Pay starts at $21.50/hour, with an overnight premium of $2.00/hour for hours between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of supervisory experience in a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) or full-service restaurant.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and a strong drive for efficiency and accuracy.
• Demonstrates professionalism and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Must be able to exhibit effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong team player.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team members in all aspects of service, including the opening, prep, and closing duties.
• Work with the chef leadership team and other departments to ensure guests receive top-quality service.
• Receive and process all kitchen orders and deliveries following company protocol.
• Maintain communication with staff to ensure enough stock and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and hygiene practices across back-of-house areas and in line with schedules.
• Monitor kitchen operating costs and ensure budget guidelines are followed.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is used safely and is in good working order.
• Conduct briefings with front and back-of-house staff pre- and post-service.
• Ensure operating and quality standards are met; present professional leadership.
