We are looking for a Front‑of‑House Lead Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure top‑quality service at Pura Vida Miami.
Work hours include opening, closing, and weekend shifts. This is a non‑exempt hourly position paying $25‑$27 per hour and includes tipped work.
Principal Responsibilities
- Lead by example, demonstrating positivity and maintaining clear communication with the entire team while engaging in all front‑of‑house service duties.
- Provide lead support during shifts, coordinate tasks, ensure smooth operations, and perform opening and closing duties.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, actively addressing customer needs and resolving any issues or complaints with efficiency and professionalism.
- Support and assist team members to surpass customer expectations, promoting swift and friendly service in a clean and inviting environment.
- Operate front‑of‑house tasks such as running food, bussing tables, preparing beverages at stations (e.g., smoothies, barista), and covering breaks for other service team members.
- Ensure compliance with all food‑safety laws, sanitation regulations and standards.
- Uphold company policies, health, safety, and employment standards.
- Assist with new team member training.
- Escalate employee requests and concerns to management; the role does not have independent authority to resolve disciplinary actions.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support overall store operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in customer‑service in a hospitality environment (restaurant, hotel, etc.).
- High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in management or leadership in a hospitality environment.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Local/municipal Food Hand Handler certification required.
- Experience with guest‑services management and demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Flexibility to work opening shifts, closing shifts and weekends.
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use electronic systems such as computers and tablets.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
