Job summary

Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux - Alexandria is seeking a part-time dishwasher to support our busy kitchen. You will clean dishes and cookware, sanitize surfaces, and help keep the back-of-house organized during peak hours.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading dishwashing machines, restocking supplies, and assisting with basic food preparation while following health and safety guidelines. Training and employee discounts are provided.

Qualifications

• Washing dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and ensuring they are properly sanitized.
• Loading and unloading dishwashing machines, and changing loads as needed.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and free of trash.
• Putting clean dishes, utensils, and equipment away in designated storage areas.
• Assisting with food preparation, handling food deliveries, and assembling food for customers.
• Sanitizing areas beyond the kitchen, such as bathrooms and the restaurant lobby.
• Restocking supplies in the kitchen and restaurant.
• Adhering to food safety guidelines and health and safety regulations.
• Participating in regular training to improve skills and knowledge of kitchen operations.
