Job summary

Walk-On's in Knoxville is seeking a part-time dishwasher to support the kitchen team. You’ll wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, assist with prep, and help keep the dish room clean and safe in a fast-paced gameday atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable around wet floors, high heat, and loud noise.
• Detail-oriented and able to keep areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitizing practices.
• Positive attitude, team-first mentality, and pride in keeping the kitchen championship-ready.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, and cookware.
• Keep the dish room spotless—trash emptied, floors mopped, cans cleaned, and everything in its place.
• Set up and break down dish machines daily, ensuring safe and correct operation.
• Pre-soak, scrub, and sanitize pots, pans, silverware, and more.
• Monitor water temperatures and cleaning standards for guest safety and food quality.
• Help keep the kitchen moving—assist teammates when needed and stay flexible.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and HACCP guidelines.
• Take pride in your work—guests may not see you, but they’ll know when you’re winning!
