Job summary

Out West Restaurant Group is hiring for a Full-Time Kitchen/Back-of-House role in California. The position pays $16.90–$18.00 per hour and is non-exempt with no tips.

Responsibilities include keeping dishwashing areas organized, maintaining kitchen workflow, following health/sanitation guidelines, restocking, and assisting various kitchen tasks. Favorable candidates have BOH experience, English/Spanish bilingual abilities, and ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1+ year BOH experience in full-service restaurant preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures smooth kitchen operations by keeping dishwashing areas organized.
• Manages tasks to maintain kitchen workflow.
• Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Restocks kitchen and cooking line as needed during shift.
• Performs routine cleaning and assists with general cleaning tasks.
• Operates dish machine and manages water/chemical procedures.
• Keeps floors clean and dry; plates and smallware washed and stored.
• Maintains food receiving, prep, production, and storage areas per health regulations.
• Reports unsafe practices and supports management.
• Demonstrates teamwork across restaurant as needed.
