Out West Restaurant Group is hiring for an Hourly Back‑of‑House position in California. This non‑exempt role supports kitchen operations with dishwashing, restocking, and sanitation duties, contributing to a safe, efficient dining experience.

CA based candidates should have 1+ year BOH experience; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Training may include beverage service certification within 60 days. Comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year BOH experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Able to work in hot and cold environments.
• Walk and stand for up to 8 hours per shift; move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• For all California based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required (can be completed during training, and up to 60 days after start date).

Responsibilities

• Ensures smooth kitchen operations by keeping dishwashing areas organized.
• Manages tasks to maintain kitchen workflow.
• Follows all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Restocks kitchen and cooking line as needed.
• Performs routine cleaning of the kitchen and assists with general cleaning tasks.
• Keeps floors clean and dry.
• Maintains and inspects food receiving, preparation, production, and storage areas to ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
