Job summary

gategroup in New York is seeking an Expeditor to coordinate the setup of food items from the kitchen to the assembly areas. You will ensure production areas are prepared with the required equipment and products before start of production, and you will transport items to the food production and assembly zones as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Up to one-year experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Set up production area with required equipment or products prior to start of production.
• Transport items from the dishroom and storeroom and deliver to the food production and assembly areas as required by the operation.
• Follows directions.
• Works as a member of a team.
• Additional duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management.
