Job summary

Buffalo Wild Wings in California is seeking team members for our Heart of House team. You’ll help prepare and cook menu items to our recipes, keep a clean, safe kitchen, and deliver high-quality food to guests.

The role supports a fast-paced environment and working with managers and teammates to ensure a smooth operation. Previous kitchen experience is welcome but not required; you will need to obtain required food safety certifications and handle shifts that may extend past midnight.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain all required food safety certifications, where required by state or local law.
• Previous kitchen/restaurant experience is preferred, but not required.
• Knowledge of safe food handling practices.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and shifts that extend past 12:00 AM.
• Ability to work shifts of 6 hours or longer.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to Buffalo Wild Wings recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen throughout every shift.
• Ensure food is prepared accurately and delivered in a timely manner.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures.
• Practice proper food handling techniques at all times.
• Work closely with managers and fellow team members to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
• Stock, organize, and rotate products to maintain freshness and quality.
• Assist with opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Help create an exceptional dining experience by delivering consistent, high quality food.
