Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance to cooks in food preparation, weighing and assembling ingredients.
• Portion food items into standard serving sizes using proper utensils and dishware.
• Operate and clean equipment; maintain sanitary work areas.
• Verify tray items match prescribed diets and take nourishment inventories.
• Stock items using FIFO; replace expired items; record recipe/menu data on computer.
• Work in food prep, dish washing, storage, receiving, and serving lines as needed.
