Qualifications

• 0-2 years related experience.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and kitchen sanitation procedures.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipe and storyboards to prepare foods according to proper preparation methods
• Ensures proper food handling and sanitary procedures are followed
• Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, walls, oven, and refrigeration equipment
• Maintains high standards of personal grooming and uses gloves to prevent bare hand contact
• Understands and complies with standard portion sizes, quality standards and kitchen rules
• Prepares menu items using plating recipes when ordered
• Reports equipment and food quality problems to management
• Assists in other job categories as needed
