Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Food Service/Prep Aide in Dover, Delaware to assist cooks with food prep, presentation, and dining operations. You will help maintain kitchen cleanliness, run the dishwashing area, and support dining room service for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Good organizational skills and ability to work well with others as part of a team.
• Must be able to stand, kneel and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and carry heavy objects for up to 20 feet.
• Must wear slip resistant footwear and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items as requested and portion/plate salads and desserts.
• Assist with kitchen and dining room cleanliness and dishwashing operations.
• Maintain sanitation equipment and monitor water temperatures.
• Provide superior customer service to residents and guests.
• Attend required in-service and staff meetings; report problems to supervisor.
