Job summary

Life Alive is looking for a Back Of House Team Member at Harvard Square in Cambridge, MA. You will help maintain a clean, organized kitchen, stock inventory, and support quick, high-quality food preparation for service.

In this fast-paced role, you will prepare sauces and vegetables, stock stations, and ensure recipes meet Life Alive's standards. Full-time position with opportunities for culinary training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Reaching and grasping overhead
• Lifting and carrying items weighing 50+ lbs
• Able to stand on feet for 8+ hours a day

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Helps achieves a ticket time goal of 6 minutes or less
• Ensures high-quality ingredients and standard food preparation
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables or preparing sauces)
• Prepares recipes according to standard procedures
• Stocks and prepares stations for service
• Communicates product needs to back-of-house (BOH) and managers-on-duty (MODs)
• Ensures high-quality ingredients and standard food preparation.
