Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• Good work history
• Understanding of cooking methods and procedures
• Excellent knife-handling skills
• Ability to enthusiastically and thoroughly follow instructions
• Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to easily carry 40+ lbs
• Experience as a prep cook is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and chef direction, including chopping, portioning, mixing, labeling, and storage
• Maintain clean, sanitized prep stations
• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries
• Ensure all food prep complies with safety standards
• Support line cooks and culinary leadership during service
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas
• Communicate inventory or product concerns
