Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes.
• Store food properly to prevent spoilage and package take-out.
• And butcher and clean fowl, fish, poultry, and shellfish for cooking.
• Prepare a variety of foods according to orders and procedures.
• Take and record temperatures of food and storage areas.
• Keep records of quantities of food used.
• Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables for cooking or serving.
• Provide food to servers when ready for service.
• Weigh or measure ingredients and mix salads and dressings.
• Load dishes into dishwashing machines and store supplies.
• Inform supervisors when equipment or stock is low.
