Common Bond Bistro & Bakery in Spring, TX is seeking a Porter to maintain cleanliness of the kitchen and dining areas, and to sanitize dishes and utensils under the direction of the Chef or Supervisor.

You will help ensure a steady supply of clean ware during peak times, operate washing equipment safely, and uphold health department standards. This role requires standing for long shifts and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with weekend availability.

Qualifications

Food Handler’s Card as required by local/state health code regulations.
Must be able to stand for an 8-hour shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Maintain professional restaurant image and appearance standards.
Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

Maintain knowledge of correct use of equipment; use equipment and tools as intended, safely.
Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
Remove garbage regularly.
Sanitize the bakery, including the floor.
Check washing machines’ operation and report issues promptly.
Inform the Chef or Supervisor of shortages on cleaning supplies before items run out.
Uphold storage procedures per Health Department and Common Bond requirements.
Preserve cleanliness of bathrooms and office spaces as applicable.
Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Additional duties as assigned.
