Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd in Charlotte, North Carolina, invites applications for a Kitchen Porter to join our busy, Monday-to-Friday operation serving a central facility catering to around 400 people daily.

You will support Chefs, maintain high standards of cleanliness, assist with some food prep, and ensure the kitchen remains hygienic and safe. Experience with pot wash is a plus; good English communication required; Right to Work in the USA.

Qualifications

• Kitchen Porter experience is preferred, but not essential.
• Organisation Skills.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and/or food preparation environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen hygienic, safe and clean to high standards.
• Assist Chefs with food preparation as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Operate industrial dishwasher and manage pot wash duties as required.

Contract: Full Time , Permanent
Salary: $ 12.00 per hour
Hours: 32 per week

A stunning B&I location for an American alternative investment and financial services management firm based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Catering for around 400 people daily, we offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and a café area. This is a Monday to Friday operation and has great transport links.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our established & friendly team at our prestigious location in Charlotte.

You'll be playing a big part in keeping the kitchen hygienic, safe, and up to our very high standards of cleanliness.

• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
• Great team player
• Be able to help the Chefs with some food prep
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness at all times
• Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment
• Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
• Operate industrial dishwasher

We are looking for:
