Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Barista in Charlotte, North Carolina to join a Monday–Friday operation at a busy contract location. The role focuses on delivering excellent coffee to staff and visitors while maintaining food standards and safety policies.

You will work as part of a friendly team, handling payments and cash, with responsibilities including setting up each day and managing stock. The position offers 32 hours per week with a start in December.

• Previous barista experience preferred

• Goodspoken and written English required
• Cash handling experience is a plus

A stunning B&I location for an American alternative investment and financial services management firm based out of Charlotte, North Carolina. Catering for around 400 people daily, we offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and a café area. This is a Monday to Friday operation and has great transport links.

We will be looking to Hire for this position at the start of December.

We are looking for a talented Barista to join our team at one of our prestigious contracts in Charlotte.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team producing the best barista coffee for staff and visitors
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Ensure that all retail items are stocked and rotated regularly
• Set up of location in the mornings for daily operation
• Manage payments and any cash handling.
• Daily stock takes of products available

You will have the following skills:

• An all-round team player
• Personable, good sense of humour, fun.

Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
