Job summary

Sifted in Redwood City is seeking a Dishwasher/Porter to join our culinary team in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen. You will wash dishes, assist with food prep, receive and store shipments, and help maintain cleaning standards and food safety under the guidance of an experienced executive chef.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a ServSafe Food Handler certification.
• Experience in kitchen hygiene and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and maintaining cleanliness of dishes and kitchen areas.
• Receiving and storing food shipments.
• Cleaning and organizing walk-in and dry storage.
• Cleaning and closing duties (trash, cardboard).
• Light food preparation tasks as needed.
• Communicate with chef and manager about kitchen issues.
• Support catering/event service tasks when required.
