Job summary

Sifted is seeking a Dishwasher/Porter to join our culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen. You will partner with our executive chef to maintain cleanliness and food safety standards during daily lunch service for startup clients.

We value reliable team players who can handle light prep, organize storage, and participate in caterings. Competitive hourly pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must maintain ServSafe Food Handler certification.
• Experience in dishwashing and kitchen sanitation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing and cleaning dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Receive and store food shipments.
• Organize and clean walk-in and dry storage areas.
• Perform closing duties (trash and composting).
• Assist with light food preparation as needed.
• Communicate with chef and manager about kitchen issues.
• Support catering and event servicing when required.
