Job summary

Mavericks Training and Performance Center in Dallas is seeking a Porter to be the first point of contact for guests and to maintain kitchen and heart-of-house cleanliness.

You will perform duties including dishwashing, organization of items, and maintaining clean dining and prep areas. The role requires alertness to safety, reporting issues, and assisting kitchen staff to ensure a smooth shift.

Qualifications

• Satisfy physical demands of the required position duties.
• Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment and follow safety procedures.
• Must stand for extended periods and be able to bend, reach, and stoop.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of kitchen and heart of house areas.
• Wash dishes, pottery, and china; organize items.
• Keep kitchen areas (cold rooms, freezer, dry stores, canteen) clean and orderly.
• Handle crockery to reduce breakages and losses; ensure equipment is in good working order and report issues.
