This role purchases food and supplies, enforces standards, and maintains sanitary conditions, with opportunities for growth within a recognized resort portfolio. Night and weekend availability may be required; Serv-Safe certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or the equivalent.
• Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
• Solid computer literacy skills.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and exposure to hot cooking elements.
• Willingness and ability to work nights and weekends as required by operational needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage back of house and kitchen operations.
• Purchase food and supplies and train staff on food prep and kitchen safety.
• Ensure food is cooked and presented properly and timely.
• Maintain sanitary standards and regular kitchen cleaning.
• Communicate cooking methods and standards to staff.
• Resolve conflicts with customers and employees as needed.
