Job summary

Jim 'N Nick's Community Bar-B-Q in High Point, NC is seeking a Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead all BOH operations in a 100% scratch kitchen environment. You will oversee shifts, manage budgets, and uphold food quality and service standards.

This role requires 3–5 years of high-volume restaurant leadership, strong coaching skills, and the ability to train staff, forecast labor and inventory, and ensure safety and sanitation across the kitchen.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of high-volume full-service restaurant management experience.
• High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
• Exceptional leadership and motivational skills to attract and retain top team members.

Responsibilities

• Run effective shifts in dining room and kitchen.
• Provide direction, coaching and development for managers and team members.
• Ensure consistent execution of systems, standards and cost controls.
• Communicate goals with General Manager and Local Owner.
• Oversee BOH scheduling and inventory procedures.
• Manage BOH budgets including forecasting.
• Hire and train staff to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Maintain safety, sanitation and equipment operation standards.
