Qualifications

• At least 6 months experience in a similar capacity as Kitchen Manager.
• Clear communication with managers, kitchen, dining room staff and guests.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for all kitchen functions including food preparation, quality standards, sanitation, and cleanliness.
• Train employees in cooking methods, plate presentation, portion control and sanitation.
• Oversee training of kitchen staff and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Maintain prep levels and assist with ordering, ensuring products are in good condition.
• Control food cost and waste, following standard recipes and procedures.
• Develop labor schedules aligned with business activity while meeting staffing needs.
• Enforce policies and administer corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee safety training for kitchen staff and maintenance of equipment and storage areas.
