Job summary

California Pizza Kitchen is seeking a Kitchen Manager to oversee day-to-day BOH operations and lead a hospitality-driven team in a fast-paced environment. You will coordinate food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure a phenomenal guest experience.

You will develop top talent, foster cross-training, and drive sales and profitability while managing labor, budgets, and guest counts. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus, with a strong emphasis on sanitation and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years BOH management experience in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
• Exceptional leadership skills – ability to motivate, inspire and develop a team.
• Passionate about execution, hospitality and service.
• While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently exposed to computer terminals; physical demands include lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Delivering a phenomenal guest experience.
• Overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations including food prep, cooking and plating.
• Maintain optimal workflow during peak periods and adapt as necessary.
