Job summary

Casey's General Stores Inc. in Ames, IA is seeking a Kitchen Manager who will be a hands-on leader and a key member of the store leadership team.

You’ll train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members to deliver an exceptional guest experience, while managing day-to-day kitchen operations and food safety standards. You’ll oversee inventory, prepare foods and dispensed beverages, and work with the Store Manager to drive performance with 5S and smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Actively train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members, delegate tasks effectively, and coach for success.
• Under Store Manager supervision, manage and influence kitchen activities in prepared foods and dispensed beverages to optimize performance.
• Partner with Store Manager to be accountable for all kitchen activities, maintain 5S standards, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Oversee kitchen inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to kitchen service, keeping Store Manager informed.

• Proficiently perform Store Team Member duties when needed.
