Job summary

PopStroke is seeking a Kitchen Manager in Texas to oversee daily kitchen operations, staff development, inventory, and food quality. You will report to the Operating Partner and Regional Chef.

Responsibilities include controlling costs, ensuring safety and sanitation, coordinating events, hiring and training staff, and ensuring timely, high-quality meals for guests. Salary is $80k-$90k plus bonus, with strong emphasis on leadership and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of kitchen experience across varied positions with at least 3 years in a management/supervisor role.
• Culinary degree strongly preferred.
• Active Serve Safe Manager certificate.
• Excellent leadership skills and ability to delegate tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs.
• Oversee financial and payroll-related administrative duties.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and training standards are met.
• Coordinate and production of events and functions.
• Direct hiring, supervision, development, and performance reviews of staff.
