Job summary

The Goat at Pflugerville, TX is hiring a Kitchen Manager to lead kitchen operations, ensure food-safety standards, and drive consistent guest experiences. Under the General Manager, you will mentor the back-of-house team, manage inventory, and collaborate with events staff to deliver outstanding service.

You will oversee scheduling, staff development, and equipment maintenance, while supporting recruitment and cost-control initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ServSafe certification is required.
• 2+ years of experience leading bar or restaurant kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen management operations and improve performance for the restaurant and bar.
• Audit inventory and control costs with follow-up reporting to GM.
• Assist with food prep and cooking to recipe specifications.
• Participate in staff recruitment during turnover and high-volume events.
• Ensure kitchen and service areas meet internal and external safety standards.
• Schedule back-of-house staff and coordinate with LC Events team for events.
• Maintain kitchen equipment and arrange preventive maintenance.
