Job summary

The Sicilian Butcher is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Manager to run a tight kitchen, lead with confidence, and deliver bold Italian cuisine. You will train and coach a team in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or culinary school certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of kitchen health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Create weekly cook and dough schedules to meet labor targets.
• Follow the recipe book with exactness and precision.
• Lead weekly back-of-house and trainer meetings as needed.
• Train cooks and kitchen staff to The Sicilian Butcher standards.
• Monitor training and discuss progress with Operations team.
• Maintain quality control, and food safety procedures.
• Check food holding and refrigeration temperature control points.
• Oversee product orders and manage product receiving.
• Control food cost and waste according to recipes and procedures.
• Perform other duties as required by upper management.
