Tokyo Joe’s is seeking a Kitchen Manager in Colorado to lead all kitchen operations with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. You’ll motivate and develop a kitchen team while upholding Tokyo Joe’s standards and procedures.

Responsibilities include ordering, prep, inventory, government food safety compliance, staff training, and coaching. You’ll drive excellence in food presentation and maintain a positive work environment that supports growth.

Qualifications

• Experience managing in a kitchen with a track record of dependability and hard work.
• Attention to detail with ability to positively motivate and develop a kitchen team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the kitchen in food preparation and production with attention to quality and presentation.
• Lead all positions proficiently, following Tokyo Joe’s standards and procedures.
• Create and follow through on food prep lists.
• Ensure government food safety requirements are understood and followed.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and equipment.
• Possess proficient knife-handling skills.
• Manage others through positive communication, teamwork, and delegation to complete tasks.
• Oversee COGS management: ordering, receiving, invoices, returns, inventory, pars.
• Handle crises and react quickly to changes.
• Orientation, new hire training, and team development.
• Motivate your team through professional communication, coaching, and performance reviews.
