As a Restaurant Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of all back-of-the-house functions for your assigned restaurant and for providing the finest food for our customers. This includes leadership of all kitchen employees and ensuring that all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet Carrabba's specifications and quality standards.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Directing and checking the progress of the prep staff and checking for food quality and consistency
  2. Assisting in the hiring and training of back-of-the-house employees
  3. Implementing effective security protocols to ensure the safety of employees and guests
  4. Preparing kitchen equipment and production areas daily to boost productivity and reduce waste
  5. Ensuring compliance with operational, safety, sanitation standards, and laws; all health inspections meet required standards
  6. Adhering to operational standards including line checks, recipe adherence, and cook times
  7. Verifying that all menu items are made according to recipe and presentation standards
  8. Managing staffing levels and shift assignments
  9. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of kitchen, dish, and storage areas
  10. Checking and balancing product inventory and placing orders
  11. Setting an example for excellent customer service and work ethic
Job Requirements

Dependability, self-reliance, passion for great food, and exceptional customer service are essential. Strong organizational and prioritization skills, professional dedication, and a team-oriented attitude are required.

Specific Qualifications Include
  • Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience, culinary or kitchen management preferred
  • Experience in a Full-Service Casual Dining or Casual Plus environment preferred
  • Previous experience with a scratch kitchen is a plus
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule
  • Minimum 21 years old with legal authorization to work in the US
  • Ability to relocate is a plus
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
