Job summary

Youth In Need, Inc. is seeking a Kitchen Manager in Missouri to lead the daily UCCC kitchen, ensuring healthy meals and snacks for about 130 children across 12 classrooms. The role requires ServSafe Manager certification within the required timeframe, plus CPR and First Aid certification.

This hourly position also requires a valid driver's license for local travel and the ability to be insured under the company’s auto policy, with sensitivity to the diverse community served by Youth In Need.

Qualifications

As a Kitchen Manager, provides leadership for the daily operation of the UCCC kitchen and ensures children receive healthy, nourishing, creative, and developmentally appropriate meals and snacks. This role manages the kitchen environment, prepares and/or oversees food production for approximately 12 classrooms and 130 children daily.

This Position:

We are interested in a Kitchen Manager with a high school diploma or equivalent. Must obtain/maintain Servsafe Manager certification and other required food safety certification within the required timeframe. Cooking in a childcare setting is preferred.

Ability to be CPR certified and First Aid certified required.

Drivers license is required, local travel required, and must be insurable under Youth In Need auto liability coverage. Must be sensitive to the socioeconomic and cultural characteristics of the service population.

This is an hourly position, starting at $25.00/hour.
