Kitchen Manager

Position Classification:

Full Time

Responsibilities (Including, But Not Limited To):
  • Handle and train staff to clean kitchen equipment carefully and safely.
  • Monitor weekly business data and prepare schedules to ensure sufficient coverage.
  • Supervise kitchen operations to maximize profitability and ensure compliance with health codes.
  • Monitor COGS through inventory control.
  • Input food purchases and safeguard recipes.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling BOH personnel.
  • Investigate and resolve food quality complaints.
  • Enforce sanitary practices and maintain cleanliness.
  • Maintain par-stock of food products.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Review expenditures with management to ensure budget adherence.
  • Work and stand for up to 60 hours per week or 12 hours per day.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Perform other kitchen duties as assigned.
Skills And Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant.
  • Proven success and upward career progression.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Culinary school background is a plus.
