Kitchen Operations:
  • Manage daily kitchen activities, ensuring excellent service, efficiency, and quality.
  • Ensure recipes, procedures, and portion sizes are followed accurately.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures according to standards.
  • Create daily prep and production lists.
  • Participate in preparing, cooking, and plating dishes.
  • Label and store food items properly.
Sanitation:
  • Maintain cleanliness and health standards in the kitchen.
  • Prepare the team to meet and exceed sanitation standards.
Leadership and Staff Development:
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff.
  • Manage labor and delegate tasks effectively.
  • Handle coaching and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Monitor staff performance and attendance.
  • Control labor and food costs within budget.
Communication:
  • Maintain open communication with staff and management regarding kitchen operations.
Inventory Management:
