Summary: Responsible for the safe preparation, cooking, and storage of food items according to recipes, instructions, and presentation guidelines.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Line Cook:
- Ensure all materials and supplies are available and set up station according to guidelines; stock station as needed.
- Prepare, season, cook, and present food items according to recipes and plating standards.
- Maintain quality standards for all food items used or sold.
- Prepare food quantities based on management’s expectations for business levels.
- Receive, store, and maintain products properly, including dating, labeling, and rotating stock.
- Monitor product and ingredient levels; notify management of low inventory.
- Check cooler and freezer temperatures; report issues promptly.
- Keep work station clean, including cleaning equipment and utensils during and after shifts; remove trash.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Prep Cook:
- Set up station, ensure materials and supplies are available, and stock as needed.
- Prepare food per recipes and plating guidelines.
- Follow all safe food handling standards.
- Ensure quality standards for all food items.
- Prepare food in quantities appropriate for expected business.
- Properly receive, store, label, and rotate products.
- Monitor inventory levels; notify management of shortages.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities - Expo:
- Maintain high knowledge of menu and safety measures.
- Ensure food presentation quality; suggest process improvements.
- Set up station, stock as needed, and prepare orders for presentation.
- Double-check orders before delivery to guests.
- Properly store and rotate products; monitor inventory and temperatures.
- Maintain cleanliness of work station and equipment, including sanitation standards.
- Complete opening, running, and closing duties as assigned.
Other organizational duties as assigned by supervisory staff.
